Important to take into account

When to start looking?
We advise clients to start the boarding school search process ideally 2 years in advance. For short term stays 9-12 months in advance should be sufficient. NB: schools offer a limited number of places for overseas children.
UK schooling system: GCSEs, A levels & IB
The UK school system may be different to what you are used to: at 16, they take GCSE exams, at 18, children take either A levels or the IB (International Baccalaureat). Get in touch for more information.
What age should your child go to the UK?
This will depend on your objectives: do you want a short term stay or a long term to the IB,? Is your child ready to go abroad, or should you wait? Everyone is different! Remember to check with your school about when they recommend overseas schooling: call us to discuss further.
