Roedean School

Roedean School is an all-girls boarding school founded in 1885, in Roedean Village, on the outskirts of Brighton, East Sussex, England, and governed by Royal Charter.
It is aimed at girls aged 11 to 18.
The campus is located near the Sussex Hills, on a cliff overlooking Brighton Marina and the English Channel.
It is regarded as the “Eton College” of UK girls’ boarding schools.

The school has dance studios, music classrooms, a 320-seat theater, an indoor heated swimming pool, a golf course, a private tunnel to the beach, a farm and a chapel, as well as various workshops, studios, laboratories and sports fields.

A cherished tradition at Roedean is Founders’ Day, which annually celebrates the school’s rich history and values with various events and activities.
Notable alumnae include actress and singer Tilda Swinton, highlighting the school’s commitment to nurturing talent and ambition.
